To All Our Loyal Friends and Customers:

It is with great sadness and regret that as of September 7, 2005 the Mission Valley Coffee Roasting Co. location of our operation will be closing!  Negotiations with the owners of the shopping center left us no alternative but to close.  “We Have Lost Our Lease!”

As this milestone in our business ends, meaning, “the place where we began,” we want you all to know that we will still be serving the community at our Mission Coffee Roasting Co., 2 miles up the street, at 151 Washington Blvd.

It is difficult to express the loss, but, all of you know how important you have been to us.  You have brought us into your daily lives.  We have laughed, cried, shared and prayed together. 

This place has been more than just “coffee”. MVCR has been a respite, a warm cozy blanket, a home away from home.  This location has been part of our lives, hearts and souls for over 12 years.  We loved this place and all of you.  It has been our baby, our child. 

Don and I have experienced life’s seasons here.  We have employed your children, watched them grow up, go away to school and even get married. We have made lasting friends. You are all important to us.  You have helped us grow personally and professionally and for that we are eternally grateful.

Please come experience our other location. We have great plans for the future. Our commitment to excellence and quality will remain paramount. We will even have a smoking area within the next month!  For every door that closes another one opens.  So remember we are just up the street!

Because of your loyalty and commitment, our business grew.  You established Mission Valley Coffee Roasting Co. in the community as Fremont’s premier coffee roasting company.  We became known not just in Fremont but, throughout the Bay Area, and to that end we thank you.
